Supporting UBC Professor Mark Mac Lean and Professor James Colliander, UBC Studios has started livestreaming 2 courses to over 1000 undergrad UBC students in the fall semester of 2022.

Two courses this semester, Math 253 – Multivariable Calculus, and Math 100 Flavour A – Differential Calculus with Applications, will be livestreamed from the lightboard at UBC Studios. The total enrollment numbers for the two sections total over 1000 individuals, setting an exciting record for the lightboard.

The introductory stream of Math 253 saw well over 500 simultaneous attendees, with new innovative features and tech that will hopefully be introduced later in the course that can better the student learning experience.
